Head of Programmes
The More We Get Together is an intergenerational birthday event that occurs weekly at CareCorner Woodlands and Marsiling.
SUSS students were allowed to take on this community engagement project as a way to interact with seniors, preschoolers, other students and kids within the community.

As head of programmes, I was tasked to direct and lead the programme planning sessions. I co-created activities and plan the programme for 1 year. From my experience, I learnt how to create new and engaging activities from scratch, according to different themes, while keeping it fun and healthy for the seniors and children to enjoy.
This required me to customise the intergenerational programme and its activities according to their preferences, age, and physical ability.

As a leader, I was also working with a team of 12 programme planners and mentored the next batch of student leaders for this project.
